North Penn handled Bucktail 61-0 on Friday night. Brock Burleigh started things off right for the Panthers, throwing a 42-yard touchdown to RB Brendan Hill. On their next drive, 36 yards from the end zone, Burleigh threw his second touchdown of the night to Garrett Bickhart. To make the score 21-0, Brendan Hill rushed for an 11-yard touchdown with 6:40 left in the first quarter. Hill finished the night with three rushes for 18 yards, one rushing touchdown, one reception for 42 yards and one receiving touchdown.

North Penn kept their foot on the gas as Joel Whitteker caught a 16-yard pass from Burleigh for another North Penn touchdown with 6:09 to go in the first quarter. Whitteker ended the night with two catches for 30 yards, one touchdown, and one rush for four yards. Burleigh then scored one for himself before the first quarter ended on a five-yard run to make it 35-0. Brock Burleigh would finish the night 4 for 5 passing for 108 yards, three passing touchdowns, one rush for five yards and a rushing touchdown.

In the second quarter, Kipper Hillson scored on a one-yard dive and Garret David scored on a 60-yard rush for North Penn. Brothers Roch and John Mininich teamed up for a defensive touchdown to end the half. Roch made the strip and John scooped the ball up and ran 57 yards for the touchdown.

North Penn scored one more time in the second half for good measure. Back-up quarterback Brent Burleigh scored on an eight-yard run to make the score 61-0.

Bucktail's Richard Perry was two for six passing for 18 yards. Mike Casper finished with 19 yards on three carries, Blake Cannon had six rushes for 19 yards, Logan Long rushed twice for eight yards and Tanner Riggle had two rushes for 10 yards.

North Penn's Brent Burleigh had one pass for 21 yards and two rushes for 17 yards and one touchdown. Hillson finished with eight rushes for 33 yards and one touchdown, Garrett David had 71 yards on two carries and one touchdown, Isaac Way tallied 51 yards on eight carries, and Hunter May had one rush for 30 yards. Nate Mahonski finished with one catch for 21 yards and Bickhart had one catch for 36 yards and a touchdown.

"It's difficult facing a team like that, but every kid that played, played hard and executed," North Penn coach Tom Dickinson said. "Justice Garth had two fumble strips in back-to-back series. The defense had five takeaways so that adds to it."
