North Penn-Mansfield rolls over Bucktail.

Brock Burleigh threw five touchdown passes as North Penn-Mansfield rolled past Bucktail 46-0 in non-league football action Friday.

The win improves the Panthers to 2-0 on the season.

Burleigh was 16-for-19 for 270 yards and five touchdowns to give him 10 touchdowns and over 600 yards so far this season.

Joel Whitteker had six catches for 145 yards and two scores while Garrett Bickhart had two catches for 62 yards and two touchdowns.

Brad Pequignot started the scoring for the Panthers with a 1-yard run at the 7:40 mark of the first quarter.

Then at the 5:55 mark Burleigh hit Bickhart for a 58-yard touchdown strike. Burleigh hit Nick Casper for the two-point conversion to make it 14-0.

North Penn-Mansfield wasn't done yet in the first as Burleigh hit Whitteker for a 33-yard passing strike to make it 20-0.

Then with 8:58 left in the second quarter Burleigh hit Bickhart for a touchdown strike, followed by Burleigh hitting Whitteker for a 43-yard scoring strike with 7:05 left in the half.

Then with 4:04 left in the second quarter Burleigh found Brendon Hill for a 5-yard touchdown strike. Don Edwards punched in the two-point conversion to make it 40-0 at the half.

The game's final score came with 10:54 left in the third quarter as Edwards had a 60-yard touchdown run to make it a 46-0 final.

Edwards led the way on the ground for NPM with 82 yards on six carries while Pequignot had 47 yards on six carries.

Mason Gee had two catches for 32 yards while Justice Garth added one catch for 18 yards. Cannon also had a catch for 21 yards.

Blake Cannon led Bucktail with 55 yards on 13 touches while Mike Casper was 6-for-10 for 14 yards as the Bucks' signal caller.
