North Penn dominates CMVT for win.

Bryce Zaparzynski had over 100 yards rushing to lead North Penn past CMVT 44-20 in football action Saturday.

They were also successful through the air as Bo Burleigh had five touchdown passes on the day, too.

The Panthers took to the air for their first two scores of the game as Burleigh hit Brady Andrews for a 49 yard touchdown pass less than a minute into the game. Zaparzynski ran in the 2-point conversion to make it 8-0.

Then with 3:36 left in the first quarter Burleigh hit Devin Remley for a 14 yard scoring strike. After Zaparzynski scored the 2-points the Panthers led 16-0.

Late in the first Zaparzynski scored on a 43 yard touchdown run, making it 24-0 after the 2-point conversion.

In the second quarter Burleigh hit Levi Christman for a 24 yard scoring strike with 6:21 to play, then with 52 seconds left Burleigh and Christman hooked for a 1-yard touchdown strike to make it 38-0 at the break.

In the third quarter Burleigh hit Christman for the third time on the day, this time for a 21 yard scoring strike to make it 44-0.

In the fourth quarter the Rams got on the board thanks to two scoring runs by Chris Zanolini. Late in the game CMVT's Dylan Larkin hit Justin Andreas for a 38 yard scoring strike to make it a 44-20 final.

Zaparzynski had 122 yards on 16 carries while Burleigh was 11-for-17 for 174 yards to go with his five touchdowns.

Andrews had two catches for 53 yards, Christman had three for 49, Dayton Wood had one catch for 33 while Remley made four grabs for 27.

Zanolini had 127 yards rushing on 40 carries while through the air Larkin was 9-for-17 for 100 yards. Andreas had four catches for 67 yards to lead CMVT.

North Penn hosts Wellsboro with the NTL Large School title yet to be decided.
